About VE1AC
Licensed since 1992, I picked up my first microphone as a teenager and never looked back. What started as a fascination with radio waves and long-distance communication became a lifelong passion for amateur radio and the incredible community that surrounds it.
I'm the founder, developer, and driving force behind HamRadioList.com — a platform I hand-coded from the ground up to serve the global ham radio community. With over 3,300 hours of development and counting, every line of code on this site was written with one goal in mind: to build the tools and resources that ham radio operators actually need.
From logbook management and real-time propagation data to QSL cards, a ham radio marketplace, and a growing library of study materials — HamRadioList.com is built by a ham, for hams. No templates, no shortcuts — just pure dedication to the hobby and the community I'm proud to be part of.
When I'm not coding or on the air, you'll find me working on the next feature to make this platform even better. 73 de VE1AC.

- Kenwood TS 830 S 180 watts.
- TYT MD-2017 Dual band DMR Digital Radio 400-480 MHz / 136-174 MHz

Antennas
My primary antenna is an HF Rotatable Rigid Dipole. Originally cut for the 30m band, I have configured it with a custom balun and feed system at the station end, allowing highly effective multi-band operation on 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 10m, and 6m. I have this antenna sitting just 12 FT from the ground.
-
My dipole is primarily oriented Broadside NE/SW. This gives me a booming path across the Atlantic to Europe and a solid signal covering the entire USA and North America.
- The total cost of this homebrew antenna was just $55 .
