Antennas

My primary antenna is an HF Rotatable Rigid Dipole. Originally cut for the 30m band, I have configured it with a custom balun and feed system at the station end, allowing highly effective multi-band operation on 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 10m, and 6m. I have this antenna sitting just 12 FT from the ground.

• My dipole is primarily oriented Broadside NE/SW. This gives me a booming path across the Atlantic to Europe and a solid signal covering the entire USA and North America.

• The total cost of this  homebrew antenna was just $55 .
