While you're operating your FT-710 remotely, you can also broadcast your live station audio and video to the public through HamRadioList.

Our live broadcasting system is designed to support thousands of simultaneous viewers, allowing amateur radio operators, friends, clubs and visitors from around the world to follow your station while you're live.

💻 PUT YOUR LIVE STATION ON YOUR OWN PAGE

Each operator has their own personal Remote Rig/public broadcasting page.

From your personal page, you can copy your own permanent embed code. The code remains the same, so you only need to add it once.

Place that code on a compatible personal website, amateur radio blog, QRZ page, club page or other profile that supports the required embedded content. When your HamRadioList station goes live, visitors to those pages can follow your broadcast there as well.

🔧 HOW IT WORKS — STEP BY STEP

1. Connect your Yaesu FT-710 to your station computer.

2. Open HamRadioList Station Bridge on the station computer.

3. Station Bridge connects your physical FT-710 with your HamRadioList Remote Rig session.

4. From your remote phone, tablet or computer, sign into HamRadioList and open Remote Rig.

5. Allow microphone and audio permissions when requested.

6. If you're using AirPods or another Bluetooth headset, connect it before you begin operating.

7. Remote Rig establishes the WebRTC connection with Station Bridge.

8. At home, the system can use your direct LAN connection.

9. Away from home on 5G/LTE or another Internet connection, our private TURN infrastructure can relay the connection when necessary.

10. Listen to the live receive audio coming from your FT-710.

11. Monitor and control your station using the Remote Rig controls and live FT-710 meters.

12. To transmit, press and hold PTT and speak normally.

13. Your microphone audio travels through Remote Rig and Station Bridge to your FT-710.

14. If your microphone needs more drive, use the built-in TX Mic Gain control.

15. Release PTT and the FT-710 returns to receive.

16. When you want others to follow along, enable your live public audio/video broadcast.

17. Copy your personal permanent embed code and place it on a compatible website, blog, QRZ page or other supported profile.

18. Leave that code there. Whenever you're live in the future, your live station can appear on those pages automatically.

This system represents hundreds of hours of hands-on development by Mike VE1AC — coding, testing WebRTC audio, solving mobile-networking problems, integrating the FT-710, developing PTT and microphone handling, working through Bluetooth audio routing, building Station Bridge and creating the infrastructure that brings everything together.

The goal has been simple: build something genuinely useful for amateur radio operators and make powerful remote operation available without forcing operators into an expensive monthly subscription.
