Live DX Cluster
Watch worldwide amateur-radio activity appear in real time, narrow it to the bands and modes you care about, click a spot to tune your connected radio, and move directly into QSO logging.
Open Live DX Cluster Connect Radio / Add QSOClick to Tune
When Rig Control is connected, click an orange map marker, DX callsign, frequency, or Tune button to move the radio to that spot.
Click to Log
Open Add QSO with the callsign, frequency, band, and mode passed into the logger so the contact can be recorded quickly.
Smart Filters
Search callsigns, countries, comments, and spotters. Filter by band, mode, or region, then use the band shortcuts for fast changes.
World Map
The map groups activity geographically. Orange markers are interactive and follow the same Tune Radio action as the live stream.
Callsign Alerts
Watch an exact callsign. When it appears in the cluster, HamRadioList can display a system-wide popup with Tune, Log, and View choices.
Start operating in five steps

Sign in
Public visitors can view spots, while signed-in operators can save alert watches and use account-connected tools.

Connect Rig Control
Open Add QSO, select Rig Control, and connect your radio. Chrome or Edge may require one first-time serial-device approval.

Open the cluster
Go to Live DX Cluster from the dashboard, main navigation, or Guides menu.

Choose a spot
Click the DX callsign, frequency, Tune button, or orange map marker. HamRadioList sends the CAT frequency and attempts to apply the reported mode.

Work and log it
After making contact, use Log QSO. Confirm the report, date, time, and any missing details before saving.
Understanding each action
📻 Tune RadioSends the spot frequency to the connected CAT radio and attempts to set mode.
📝 Log QSOOpens Add QSO with available DX spot details prefilled.
👁 View ClusterReturns to the live cluster, normally focused on the watched callsign or spot.
Create a system-wide callsign alert
- Open the Alerts area in the DX Cluster.
- Enter one exact callsign, such as
VE1AC. - Save the watch and leave it enabled.
- Continue using HamRadioList normally.
- When the callsign appears, use Tune, Log, or View from the custom popup.
Tip: Callsign watches are exact. Enter the base or portable callsign exactly as you expect it to appear in DX spots.
Troubleshooting
The Tune button does not change my radio
Open Add QSO and confirm Rig Control is connected and reading the current frequency. Close other applications that may own the serial port. Only one program can normally control a physical CAT port at a time.
I see spots but no map markers
Some spots only include a country or continent approximation. Also try clearing filters and allowing the map several seconds to resize after loading.
Callsign alerts say login is required
Sign out once, sign back in, hard-refresh the page, and confirm cookies are allowed for hamradiolist.com. The alert API must receive the same authenticated session as the rest of the site.
Can I use the cluster on mobile?
Yes. The stream changes into touch-friendly cards. Direct browser USB serial control still depends on Web Serial support, which is strongest in modern desktop Chrome and Edge.
