About W7GET
I became a Novice in 1979 and was issued the callsign KA7HQE. I upgraded to General Class in 1980 at the Denver Colorado FCC Field Office while on vacation. Ninteen years later I upgraded from Advanced Class to Extra Class in 1999 and requested and received the vanity callsign W7GET. My XYL Maureen (K7MKT) and our three children, Daniel (K7DGT), Joshua (W7JKT) and Rebekah (AF7CV) have their tickets as well.
